This claim by Mishaal, which is not only in his book - available in print and on his web site - was also posted by him to the Islamic newsgroup.

How many Muslims shout "shirk" when they see the word "Trinity"?

How many Muslims read this article on the newsgroup or his web site and felt confirmed again that they are right and how wonderful it is that Allah gives them wisdom as to prove these Christians wrong from their own scriptures?

But how many Muslims of all the thousands that read the newgroup have made this little effort to check up on what they read so that they will not be deceived by those who put out any lie if only it seems that it could help "their religion" in some way?

There was NOT ONE response from a Muslim who protested against this gross abuse and corruption of the Holy Scriptures. Not one found it noteworthy that the word "God" was used for Muhammad. Not one response.

God's true Apostles have preached what is the only appropriate plea I can present to you in the face of this.

In Acts 10, the Apostle Peter says:

36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel,
telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ,
who is Lord of all.
37 You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee
after the baptism that John preached --
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power,
and how he went around doing good and healing all
who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
39 We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews
and in Jerusalem.
They killed him by hanging him on a tree,
40 but God raised him from the dead on the third day
and caused him to be seen.
41 He was not seen by all the people,
but by witnesses whom God had already chosen --
by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify
that he is the one whom God appointed as judge
of the living and the dead.
43 All the prophets testify about him
that everyone who believes in him
receives forgiveness of sins through his name."
And in Acts 17, the Apostle Paul preaches:
22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said:
Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious.
...
30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance,
but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice
by the man [Jesus] he has appointed.
He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead."

Please, I plead with you do not go on being deceived, but search for the truth with an open heart. Pray that God will show you HIS truth even if it turns out to be very different from what you have lived with for all your life. My prayers are with you. And you are most welcome to ask me any question you have in that respect and want to understand better what the Bible has to say about true faith.
